School Days: Mia

Introducing gorgeous little Mia and our first Our Story School Days photosession.

Mia is very excited as she is starting school this year – that’s right. Little Mia is going to be starting Kindy very soon. Mia was more than happy to jump into her school uniform and show me all the little bits and pieces which is going to make her school day that extra bit special, including a very special princess backpack.

Mia’s cute little uniform all ready on her bed to get changed into. I know this sounds crazy but I kinda loved my uniform as a kid and look at the ones now – they even have matching headbands!

It’s the little things that matter, like remembering how little, or big, your kids shoes are every year of school. They grow so fast!

“When I get bigger I’m going to go to Kindy just like Mia”… Awwwwww don’t you love when little kids make your heart melt!

For the last part of the School Days photosession we visited Mia’s school. Luckily it was open on the weekend and we were able to get a few photos. What makes it even more special is that Dean, Mia’s dad, and his family attended this school when he was a boy.

A big thanks to longtime friend and dad Dean who was more than happy to volunteer Mia for this super-special shoot!
