Inspired by Newborns
May 24, 2010

Sometimes there is just an image which captures you while your looking through the hundreds of photos taken on a shoot.
Those of you who know me well know that I have a few addictions when it comes to my photography including weddings and couples just to name a few, but lately I’m trying to focus on life’s smaller subjects. The tiniest of people, newborns, totally have me captivated. This may have something to do with me being entirely clucky as baby bumps are popping up everywhere in my life – and no, none for me just yet.
Anywho back to the point of the post I recently did a call around to my friends to see if there are any couples with fresh little bubs who were willing to donate their time to the art of photography. Luckily one of my girlfriends referred their friends who had a beautiful baby boy 4 weeks prior. I have one photo to share with you today as you can already see, and I would love to introduce you to Cristiano. He will have his own feature post soon but I couldn’t help but share this shot early.
To celebrate my new obsession, I’m offering a limited number of free newborn photographic session with low resolution images. I’m looking for newborns preferably under 2 weeks old but will accept upto 3 weeks old for the session and you must be in Sydney to take advantage of the offer. Most of the shoots will be either a Saturday between 10 and 2 or on Sunday unless you get in early. Make sure to spread the word to any family or friends who are expecting!!
To qualify for a free newborn session leave a comment below with your new bubs date of birth (or expected date), your location and why you would love a free session.

It’s time to share a few more photos from another amazing photoshoot…
Michael, Pav and their gorgeous son Zac took the day out together on a sunny Saturday afternoon for some family photos. Living a fairly hectic lifestyle as both mum and dad live the corporate life as well as being loving parents to their son Zac you could tell they all had an amazing time out. Pav saw the previous session with Lisa & Jeff and loved the location so we held the session at Bear Island in Sydney’s La Perouse. As you may be able to tell it’s one of my favourite locations and although the tide was huge there was still plenty of options.
Michael & Pav had just bought Zacs first bike – can you see the training wheels? I love the total look of concentration on Zacs face. We all had a bit of fun while he was riding his bike, and just like mummy and daddy he loved going fast!

It seems I was up for some hefty competition for a great photo. Michael & Pav bought along Zac’s camera and he started taking a few photos during the session. It was a fantastic distraction while I was able to get some shots of mum and dad alone.

A big thank you to Michael, Pav and Zac for welcoming me into their family and letting me share in the love x
Introducing Amber
May 16, 2010
When Alison and Dan had their beautiful baby girl Amber they decided to give me a call and how could I say no! Gorgeous little Amber is only a few weeks old and she was soo tiny. If having a new little baby wasn’t enough they have also moved into a new family home in Sydney’s beautiful Sutherland Shire.

This is the second time I’ve photographed Alison and Dan. They are one of the reasons I entered wedding photography as their wedding was my first. Although I wasn’t the official wedding photographer I went along and took loads of photos and fell in love with photographing weddings. While taking these photos I noticed the photos I had taken around the house, felt very special

Very addicted to cute little baby details and feet at the moment…

A few shots around the nursery

Congratulations to Alison and Dan and I wish you lots of sleep!
