Accredited member of AIPP
April 24, 2010

I’m officially an accredited member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Photography)!
I’m so happy as this signifies all the hard work and commitment put in over the past many years not only through my own business but also working as a lead photographer with Israel Smith Photographers.
Here’s a little about the AIPP from their website:
The AIPP is the largest organisation in Australia representing the interests of professional photographers. We strive to promote and maintain the highest standards of professional competence and business ethics in the industry.
We maintain relevant entry criteria and a binding Code of Ethics , as well as providing ongoing education for our members ensuring the AIPP is a brand of trust in the photographic industry.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends, clients and sponsors who helped me achieve this accreditation.
He proposed and she said Yes!

… Or something of that nature happened when Jeff (28) asked his gorgeous girlfriend Lisa (29) to marry him. Jeff contacted the studio to plan a photoshoot with a bit of a suprise thrown in – we were over the moon to be considered for such a special occasion. Since Jeff didn’t have anywhere special in mind we suggested the gorgeous Bare Island at LaPerouse which has such a great variety for portrait shoots and given the right weather the location can be awe-inspiring.
Lisa & Jeff had a little bit of difficulty picking their favourite photo from the session so they picked two:

Lisa and Jeff are such a cute couple and there is so much love between them. The session took a little bit of extra planning to make sure the timing was just right. For the proposal I had Lisa’s undivided attention so Jeff could grab the ring and propose. Once Jeff managed to get the ring out of his pocket it was just a matter of getting Lisa to turn around and notice – this was a little easier said than done as she was the perfect poser.
